Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon is a farming simulation/role-playing game in which players assume the role of an adventuring farmer who traverses various environments to battle creatures in search of crops and farming items. Players can battle and capture creatures to help in both combat and farm work. Depictions of combat are mild. Numbers pop up to indicate damage. One of many characters (a fortuneteller) wears a mildly provocative outfit showing some cleavage. Wine can be purchased and consumed by the player. Consumption of wine depletes the players health, which can result in the player waking up in a hospital.
