Hardy Boys: Treasure on the Tracks is an adventure game in which players assume the role of two young detectives known as the Hardy Boys. Players investigate events surrounding murder and theft by interviewing suspects and examining evidence. One mini-game requires the player to diffuse a bomb by rearranging circuitry; if the player fails, there is a loud explosion and still shots of flames.
