This is an action game based on the animated series Afro Samurai. Players assume the role of a character who traverses through enemy-ridden villages in search of his father's killer. Characters use swords and firearms to attack enemies and can use special attacks for added effects (e.g., slow-motion, discoloration). Enemy limbs and heads can be chopped off while red blood gushes on the floor and surrounding environments. Players can be rewarded for killing enemies in a certain way (e.g., slicing an enemy between the eyes unlocks "Achievements"). Some of the attack names contain references to drug use and paraphernalia (e.g., "Splitting the Spliff," "Double Toke," "Gravity Bang"). Some female characters ("Pole Cats") who appear in a strip club environment are depicted completely topless, wearing only their panties as they fight. Strong profanity (e.g., "f*ck," "p*ssy," and "sh*t") and sexual references (e.g., "I'd bang that a*s all day" and "…every woman I stick my d*ck into…") can be heard in the dialogue.
