Darkest of Days

This is a first-person shooter in which players travel through time and fight in historical battles (e.g., World War I, World War II, Civil War, Little Big Horn, etc.). Players often find themselves on the frontline of battles, using various six-shooters, rifles, machine guns, and explosives to kill enemy soldiers. During one historical phase, players can kill Roman civilians in the city of Pompeii. Firefights are highlighted by camera effects (blurring and screen shake), realistic sounds (gunfire, explosions, cries of pain), and blood that occasionally splatters on the screen. Profanity such as "f*ck" and "sh*t" can sometimes be heard in the dialogue.
