Rating Summary
This is an action platformer game in which players traverse colorful environments as a giant ape, Donkey Kong. Players run, jump, and glide through different levels while gathering items (mostly banannas) and combating various enemies (e.g., pigs, bats, frogs). During one-on-one boss battles, players can land several punches against giant spiders, mechanized elephant, and over-sized birds. Some of these attacks blur or shake the screen, while a finishing blow (e.g., a heavy hammer punch) knocks the opponent out in dramatic fashion.
