This is a fantasy role-playing game (RPG) in which players control two central characters whose mission is to unlock secret powers and destroy a world that is too corrupt to be worth saving. Players traverse through colorful castles, forests, and dungeons, interact with several characters, and engage in turn-based combat along the way. Players can select actions from a menu screen (e.g., "attack," "defend," and "run") to defeat enemies, which earns them money, items, and experience points. Cutscenes sometimes depict small characters chained to walls and being tortured. During one sequence, an interrogator strikes a prisoner repeatedly while insulting him (e.g., "you filthy maggot," and "I'll show you pain you never knew possible"). Some expletives (e.g., "dammit" and "hell") can be heard in the dialogue.
