This is an adventure game in which players control Larry, a night watchman, as he searches for pieces of a magic tablet in the Smithsonian Museum. Players traverse through the museum, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies brought to life from paintings, sculptures, and other natural history exhibits. Enemies include soldiers/villains wielding swords, spears, arrows, and guns, as well as dinosaur skeletons, polar bears, and rhinos. While most of the action involves avoiding injury (e.g., dodging a gangster's machine gun fire, avoiding the chomps and tail swipes of a T-Rex), players can attack enemies with lightning bolts from a flashlight. Enemies sometimes groan and usually turn into dust when defeated. During the course of the game, a monkey is depicted propelling itself around a room by using flatulence.
