Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!

This is a boxing game in which players spar with a trainer named Doc Louis. Players engage in training regiments where the goal is to avoid Doc's various punches and try to knock him down in the fastest time possible. While players can use standard boxing moves such as jabs, hooks, and uppercuts, most fights are performed in a comical fashion: "dizzy stars," "cartoony" sound effects (e.g., "tweety bird" chirping), and whimsical dialogue (e.g., "Alright, Mac Baby...ding ding," "I telegraphed that," and "This is called Old School…Ha ha ha ha!") accompany the sparring matches. Boxers' faces show bruises and get bandaged up as the training progresses.
