Rating Summary
This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of a shipwrecked Spartan king who must fight his way through hordes of mythological enemies. Players use swords, axes, bows, and special attacks to hack-and-slash at a legion of enemies—centaurs, harpies, undead soldiers, and a Cyclops. Powerful finishing moves can be performed to inflict greater damage or to kill larger creatures. During combat, creatures emit large splashes of blood that stain the environment, then disappear after a short period of time. Larger creatures emit fountains of blood when their throats are slashed or when they are stabbed.
