pop'n music

This is a music rhythm game in which players control the hands of characters that hit colored buttons in-time with matching-colored notes scrolling down the screen. As players hit the buttons at the right timing, they fill up a "Groove Gauge" that builds up until a zone is cleared. Some game modes allow players to target objects, robots, and ghosts with each musical hit; small explosions or laser-like beams strike the enemies, causing them to blink, disappear, or sometimes get charred.
