Rating Summary
This is a 2D action-platfomer in which players pilot a small tank-like vehicle through underground caverns and sky towers to battle small mutant creatures. Players use drills, hooks, and claws to navigate through levels and to destroy the virus-infected insects and animals; players can also defeat enemies by shooting circle-shaped lasers from their vehicle's cannon or from their blaster while on foot—enemies disappear in a quick burst. Boss battles involve more frenetic combat: multiple fiery blasts, screen-shaking, frequent laser/explosion sound effects—boss creatures usually blink when hit. During a brief introductory cutscene, infected human survivors are depicted slumped over in trucks and doorways or lying facedown on the street.
