Lips: Party Classics

This is a karaoke music game in which players sing along with music videos of various styles and genres. Players score points by matching the pitch and duration of notes displayed on the screen. Music videos include depictions of men and women—mostly women—in revealing outfits, in grown-up situations, in provocative poses: a background dancer straddling a chair, then opening her legs; a woman dancing provocatively, then climbing into bed with a man; women dancing in bikinis—the camera panning close-up on their butts; and a woman guiding her hand down her body until it reaches her crotch (in the music video "I Touch Myself")—all standard music-video fare, though depictions that parents and consumers might want to know about.

A handful of videos depict patrons drinking alcohol (in "Red Red Wine") and consuming any number of "whiskey," "vodka," or "lager drinks" (in a not unfamous song); one video also shows people smoking cigarettes and pipes. A custom video depicts two claymation-style armies wielding swords, striking each other, losing legs and limbs in battle; another video briefly highlights a domestic dispute—a man slapping a woman. Some song lyrics contain references to sexuality (e.g., "When I think about you I touch myself," "I always get it up for the touch of a younger kind," and "But she only comes when she's on top"); there is also a throw-back allusion to drugs (e.g., "Feeling kind of high like a Hendrix haze") and a more current reference to marijuana (e.g., "Burn bad ganja 'pon him little rowin' boat").
