Hysteria Project

This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a victim trying to escape from an axe-wielding killer. The game is presented from a first-person perspective and uses realistic camcorder-style sequences. Players are initially bound in duct tape in a room, then are prompted to make various choices (turn left or right, run, hide, etc.) within a limited time frame. Some choices can result in the killer slashing his axe toward the screen; the screen turns red as text may read "an axe splits your skull before you can even jump." Some sequences depict blood on bandages and on a character's hand.
