This is an action-adventure game based on the movie Clash of the Titans. Players assume the role of Perseus, the son of Zeus, on a quest to save a princess from the ravages of Hades. Players use swords, axes, hammers, and bows to attack fantastical creatures (e.g., harpies, giant scorpions, Cyclops) in melee-style combat. Battles are frequent and fast-paced, and enemies scream in pain when struck by weapons; sprays of green and purple blood also occur. Players can finish off weakened creatures by impaling or dismembering them, which is depicted from a zoomed-in perspective. One cutscene also depicts Perseus cutting off a cursed maiden-creature's head—though the sequence is brief and focuses on the aftermath. Some of the female demons wear revealing outfits, and dialogue may include suggestive phrases (e.g., "So beautiful as to tempt Poseidon . . . Poseidon took her on the cold floor").
