This is a seek-and-find adventure game in which players assume the role of an opera stage hand who investigates a series of murders. Players search for hidden items on screens full of jumbled objects to uncover clues about the murders. During the course of the game several characters deaths' are displayed in animated still-frame images: a chandelier is shown dropping and killing a character; several bodies are shown stuffed and frozen inside meat lockers. Blood is depicted in some scenes: a victim lying face down in a pond, where blood appears around the man's head; blood dripping onto a newspaper article; a butcher shop with blood stains on the floors and walls. Several characters throughout the game are shown smoking cigars and cigarettes.
