This is a role-playing game in which players embark on a journey to prevent an evil power from stealing magic crystals. Players move small characters across a 2D map to explore fantasy landscapes and enter into battles with plant monsters, robots, zombies, and soldiers. Players select attacks/spells from a menu screen to use against enemies that dissolve when defeated. Players can also access an art gallery that includes drawings of characters: one of these images depicts a colorful bleeding door; another drawing depicts a female creature that appears to be topless—though there is no discernible detail. During gameplay, a handful of female characters are depicted in outfits that expose moderate amounts of cleavage. The dialogue occasionally references alcohol (e.g., "This wine is the whole reason I came to Baron" and "Just think of all the great booze"); players can also obtain Bacchus Wine as a power-up to use during battle. The words "bastard," "damn," and "hell" appear in dialogue.
