This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Hal Jordan, also known as the superhero Green Lantern. Players traverse through alien planets and use an extraterrestrial ring to form weapons such as machine guns, blades, baseball bats, and lasers; these weapons can be used to engage fantasy enemies (e.g., robots, aliens, living statues) in hand-to-hand combat. In some sequences, enemies can be shot with close-range gunfire or stabbed with swords made from the ring's energy; these attacks are sometimes accompanied by slow-motion effects. The game contains a few instances of suggestive material (e.g., a female character whose outfit exposes moderate amounts of cleavage; a cinematic clip implying that two characters have slept together). The words "a*s," "hell," and "damn" can be heard in the dialogue.
