Rating Summary
In this action-adventure game, based on the DreamWorks movie Puss in Boots, players assume the role of a talking cat on a quest to repay his pending debt. As players run and jump through Wild West–themed towns, they engage in swordfights with “cartoony” human bandits. Fights are accompanied by realistic sword-slashing sounds, slow-motion effects, and small explosions. Enemies generally disappear when defeated, or howl as they fall over building ledges. Some scenes depict slapstick/bathroom humor (e.g., a bandit zipping up his pants and leaving an outhouse; Puss dragging his buttocks across the ground).
