Sonic CD™

Sonic CD™ is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB with Mild Cartoon Violence. This is an action platformer in which players assume the role of Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to save the world from his arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman. As players zoom across fantastical landscapes, they collect items (e.g., gold rings, power-ups) and use spin attacks to knock over enemies (e.g., insect- and animal-like robots); enemies disappear amid smoke puffs. During boss battles, players repeatedly strike larger machines until they fall apart. Some animated sequences depict characters escaping from brief explosions and collapsing debris.
