Bookworm Adventures Volume 2

This is a puzzle-adventure game in which players assume the role of Lex, a bookworm magically transported into popular works of fiction. Players spell out words to earn power-ups and initiate turn-based battles against “cartoony” creatures (e.g., pigs, farmers, gingerbread men). These sequences are accompanied by smacking sound and impact bubbles; enemies fall over and quickly disappear when defeated. Some creatures use a “bleeding” attack (i.e., red droplets) to drain players' health meter, and one enemy strikes with a butcher knife. During the course of the game, an oversized caterpillar is depicted holding a hookah pipe and saying, “Smoke kills!”
