Dungeon Hunter Alliance

This is a role-playing game in which players control a resurrected knight who must stop an evil queen from oppressing the surrounding kingdom. From a 3/4–overhead perspective, players explore various environments (e.g., dungeons, forests, villages) and use swords, bows, explosives, and magical attacks to kill human bandits and fantasy creatures (e.g., goblins, werewolves, zombies, trolls). Battles are generally fast-paced and frenetic—players frequently slash at enemies in melee-style combat. Enemies screech or cry out in pain when hit; defeated enemies emit spurts of red blood before collapsing to the ground and disappearing. During cutscenes, a couple of stained-glass images depict violent acts: a king cutting his wrist for a ritual; a fairy getting impaled on an altar.
