Blades of Time

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Ayumi, a treasure hunter searching for the truth about her past. As players traverse through magical realms and solve environmental puzzles, they use swords, guns, and supernatural attacks (e.g., freezing enemies or setting them on fire) to kill creatures (e.g., spiders, golems, giant boss monsters) and humans in frenetic hand-to-hand combat. Battles are highlighted by shrieks of pain, gushing/sword slashing sounds, and realistic gunfire; humans emit large splashes of blood when hit and leave behind pools of blood when killed. In one dramatic cutscene, a female character impales herself with a sword before collapsing to the ground. The word “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.
