Rating Summary
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Ryu Hayabusa, a ninja battling demons (i.e., Fiends) that threaten the world. From a third-person perspective, players use katanas, scythes, and magic attacks to kill armored soldiers and Fiends (e.g., giant dragon-, scorpion-, and worm-like creatures). The melee-style combat is highlighted by sword slashes, slow-motion effects, and blood splashes that stain the surrounding environment. Some attacks result in decapitation or dismemberment, and additional violence occurs in cutscenes (e.g., an evil character beheading a human minion, causing exaggerated fountains of blood). One playable character is dressed in a skin-tight outfit that exposes large amounts of cleavage; her exaggerated-size breasts jiggle during gameplay.
