Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir

This is a horror-adventure game in which players must help a ghost recover its lost memories. As the game progresses, the storyline describes an evil character who tortures and kills people by “stealing” their faces—the ghosts of these victims are depicted with obscured features (e.g., eyes and mouths sewn shut). Players frequently use a camera to attack (i.e., exorcise) these spirits; damage is indicated by screen-cracking effects, screaming sounds, and on-screen indicators (e.g., Close Shot, Kill Shot). One scene depicts the silhouette of a woman struggling as a figure claws at her face. Some sequences also depict bloody handprints, bloodstained objects, and bloody gashes on hands.
