Battleship

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a U.S. Navy officer battling an alien threat in the Hawaiian Islands. Players use pistols, machine guns, rail guns, and grenades to kill human-like creatures and complete mission objectives. Players can also destroy enemy vessels by issuing tactical commands to their naval fleet (e.g., destroyers, submarines, cruiser units) and providing artillery support for land forces. The frenetic battles and accompanying cutscenes are highlighted by realistic gunfire, large explosions, and screams of pain; enemies collapse to the ground when killed. One sequence depicts an alien getting shot in the head at close range, resulting in splashes of water from its broken suit. The words “a*s,” “dammit,” and “hell” can be heard in the dialogue.
