The Amazing Spider-Man

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Spider-Man as he fights crime in New York City and struggles against a dangerous biological threat. Players punch, kick, and use web-based attacks to defeat Marvel-universe villains, giant robot bosses, and human enemies (e.g., armed thugs, violent mental patients) in melee-style combat. Stealth moves can also be used to catch opponents off guard and incapacitate them. Battle cries, impact sounds, and realistic gunfire can be heard throughout; zoomed-in camera angles and slow-motion effects accompany various attack combos. Some dramatic cutscenes depict other acts of violence: scientists getting attacked/bitten by mutant creatures; a character screaming as he is injected with a syringe. In addition to some suggestive banter (e.g., “Well, good to know you like to be on top. I don't usually go this far on a first date.”), the words “a*s” and “bastard” can be heard in the dialogue.
