Soul Sacrifice

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a slave who enters a magical book's fantasy worlds. From a third-person perspective, players engage in frequent battles against monsters and sorcerers. Players use various magic attacks (e.g., fire blasts, spinning blades, flaming arrows) to defeat the monsters and then save or sacrifice them. If players opt to “sacrifice” these figures, the enemy monsters writhe around and burst into a blood-like mist. Cries of pain, blood-splatter effects, and explosions highlight the frenetic action. A handful of cutscenes depict humans exploding into mists of blood; one giant boss creature's limbs get dismembered during battle. Blood also appears on the walls and floors of some environments. The female playable character can be customized to wear few revealing costumes (e.g., an outfit made up of straps; a costume exposing large amounts of cleavage).
