Rating Summary
In this compilation of three story-based platformer games, players assume the role of Jak, who along with his side-kick Daxter, traverse open-world environments to collect ancient artifacts. Players run and jump through levels and they use an assortment of "cartoony" weapons/attacks (e.g., laser rifles, machine guns, spin attacks) to defeat alien creatures and enemy guards. In some sequences players drive armed vehicles to battle enemy creatures; some creatures emit green splashes of blood when run over. During the course of the game, cutscenes contain dialogue with suggestive material and innuendo (e.g., “Oh don't worry. Jak beats things all the time, eh Jak?” “You should see his quarter and his harem of love birds. . .I never get any sleep these days,” “This puppy's got some vibration to it. . . This baby will put a smile on your face,” and “[Y]ou may want to shave some parts.”). Some female characters are also depicted in revealing costumes (e.g., moderate cleavage, skin-tight outfits); in one sequence, the camera briefly pans on a female character's breasts from a first-person perspective. The game also contains some bathroom humor: a dog is comically depicted urinating on the ground. The words “p*ssy,” “b*tch,” and “a*s” can be heard in dialogue.
