Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

This is a collection of sports-themed games in which players compete with Mario, Sonic, and their friends at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Players can engage in a variety of conventional sporting events (e.g., gymnastics, swimming, track and field), as well as “cartoony” events or mini-games. In the boxing-themed game, players can use human characters to jab, hook, and punch opponents until their health bar is depleted; the action is highlighted by punching sounds, colored splashes/stars over characters' heads, and knock-outs.
