This is a hidden-object adventure game in which players assume the role of a detective searching for a missing person inside a boarding house. Players solve puzzles and search for specific items among screens of jumbled objects to advance the narrative. The game contains some dark tonal elements (e.g., references to murder, suicide) and brief instances of violence: a woman stabbing the player's character with a bloody knife; a woman falling to her death from a clock tower; a man found dead inside a water tank. A handful of scenes depict small blood stains on objects, walls, and floors. One sequence depicts human eyeballs inside an ice box.
