Stern Pinball Arcade

This is a pinball simulation game in which players compete to score the most points on games based on real-world Stern pinball cabinets. Players control bumpers, hit targets, and guide balls through various triggering switches. Several games contain dot-matrix screens that depict instances of violence: a woman lynched and thrown off a rampart; a woman set on fire; a man impaled through the head by a giant insect; giant insects exploding into blood splatter. Some pinball machines include images of women wearing low-cut tops and bikinis; one machine depicts a man inflating a blow-up doll with large cleavage and a garter belt. Some song lyrics contain references to alcohol and tobacco (e.g., “Spends my money, drinks my booze...”; “...there's a cigarette still burning”); other lyrics contain suggestive content (e.g., "Working double time/On the seduction line"; "Do it to me all night long").
