Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk

This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of a detective (Jake Hunter) investigating a murder in a mysterious mansion. Players investigate crime scenes and interrogate suspects using dialogue and action choices. A crime scene depicts bloodstained shards of glass and small pools of blood under a corpse; another sequence depicts characters fighting on the ground while a man swings a baseball bat at Jake. During the course of the game, characters are depicted in still images ordering drinks and discussing alcohol; one protracted scene involves characters drinking vodka. The player's character is frequently depicted smoking cigarettes and/or describing lighting up/smoking. The word “bullsh*t” appears in the dialogue.
