Rating Summary
This is a strategy/adventure game in which players assume the role of a new sheriff (Lily Reed) presiding over the small town of Sharpwood. Players manage their department, assign police units to tasks, and solve criminal investigations. During some investigations, players engage in turn-based combat (viewed from a ¾-overhead perspective), using tasers, pistols, and rifles to apprehend and/or kill criminals. Bloodstains are depicted on the ground as criminals are shot and killed. In one investigation, clues depict a decapitated head and severed limbs. Some cases can also lead to the interrogation and/or torture of criminals: players are directed to use various instruments and means (e.g., medical instruments, truth serum, electric burners) to extract information from characters; torture occurs off-screen, though intense screaming is heard. The game contains sexually suggestive dialogue, crime calls and situations: investigations involving sexual harassment and assault (e.g., a still image depicting a janitor subduing a female victim); dialogue/text that reads "A grandmother found her grandson masturbating and is threatening to castrate him..." and "...[A] prostitute is doing business on the first floor of an abandoned girls boarding house.”; sexual activity (e.g., a still image of a prostitute in lingerie straddling atop a clothed man). During the course of the game, police can seize drugs (e.g., heroin, cocaine) from crime scenes; some images show characters injecting drugs into their arms. The words "f**k" and "sh*t" are heard in the dialogue.
