Darksiders Genesis

This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of War and Strife, Horsemen of the Apocalypse on a quest to stop Lucifer. From a top-down perspective, players traverse wasteland environments and engage in melee-style combat against demonic hordes, angels, and enemy bosses. Players use swords and firearms (e.g., pistols, cannons, shotguns) to kill enemy creatures in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire and small blood-splatter effects. Still-image cutscenes also depict instances of violence and gore: large bloodstains on characters' bodies; a creature's face getting crushed, resulting in spurts of blood and a floating eyeball; a demon's head getting sliced in half. The word “sh*t” is heard in the game.
