Those Who Remain

This is a horror/adventure game in which players assume the role of a troubled husband trapped in a cursed town. From a first-person perspective, players explore the town, solve puzzles, and stay within lighted areas to avoid being killed by shadowy creatures. As players progress, they can unlock the town's mysteries and encounter other people whom they can choose to kill or save. Choosing to kill people can result in characters being set on fire, killed by shadow creatures, or dropped into an abyss. Some sequences depict bodies hanging from ropes and large splatters of blood on floors and walls. During the course of the game, a lamp-monster creature is depicted with exposed breasts. The word “f**k” is heard in the game.
