Rating Summary
This is a multiplayer version of the action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2. Players assume the role of an escaped prisoner working to clear their name while performing combat, bounty hunting, and collection missions. From a first- or third-person perspective, players traverse an open-world, Wild West environment while interacting with characters and engaging in gun fights with lawmen and other outlaws. Players use bows, pistols, shotguns, rifles, and explosives to kill enemies in frenetic combat; players can also use tomahawks and knives to perform stealth kills. Large blood-splatter effects occur during battle, and some weapons may decapitate or dismember bodies. Players are able to shoot civilians, though this will negatively impact players' progress (e.g., wanted status, pursuit by lawmen). Some areas depict prostitutes in revealing outfits making suggestive remarks to players/potential customers (e.g., “You look like you need to let off some steam”; “You don't want to sleep alone, now do ya?” ); the dialogue also references suggestive material (e.g., “He thinks only of his next meal, his next whore”; “And he will eat and whore himself into his meaningless grave.”). During the course of the game, players' character can drink alcohol, sometimes resulting in screen distortion and impaired controls. One stimulant power-up is known as Cocaine Gum, which players' character can chew/consume. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “c*cksucker” appear in dialogue.
