Police Simulator: Patrol Officers

This is a simulation game in which players can experience daily life as a police officer in a fictional American city. Players issue traffic violations, stop suspects on the street, handle car accidents, arrest characters, and pursue various suspects. Car-accident scenes sometimes depict wounded figures on the ground. Players use a pistol-like taser to stun fleeing suspects, resulting in characters briefly falling to the ground. Players' officer also has a handgun, though the game does not encourage its use (e.g., the shift ends if players shoot civilians or suspects). Players can use breathalyzers to test drivers' blood alcohol content, and sometimes characters are depicted drinking beer/alcohol in violation of public ordinance. During searches of suspects and vehicles, players can find bags of marijuana or white powder; there are also references to THC and amphetamines.
