Quake II

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a marine saving Earth from aliens. Players traverse futuristic, maze-like environments and use shotguns, machine guns, blasters, and chain-fist weapons to kill alien enemies. Combat is fast-paced, accompanied by realistic gunfire, cries of pain, and blood-splatter effects. Several attacks result in decapitation/dismemberment, as enemies explode into chunks of flesh. Some environments depict mangled/mutilated human corpses; players can shoot at the dead bodies, resulting in more blood-splatter. The word “sh*t” appears in the game.
