Dave The Diver

This is an adventure role-playing game in which players assume the role of a deep-sea diver supplying fish for an island's sushi restaurant. Players explore pixelated underwater environments while collecting supplies and using harpoons and knives to hunt for fish. Successful hits are accompanied by small puffs of blood, which also appear when players are attacked/bitten by fish or occasional humans. Some background videos in a mini-game depict female characters wearing revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage); one sequence depicts a man holding a giant pillow, designed with a female idol in a revealing outfit. The game contains instances of alcohol use: a customer drinking beer at a bar/restaurant; a character in a social media post stating “I think I'm a little drunk"; the same character shown vomiting from a hangover. Players can visit an underwater parlor and engage in fantasy games involving wagering (e.g., a shell game styled after Three-Card Monte); a deck-building card game (styled after Balatro) allows players to create winning hands of poker. The word “damn” appears in the game.
