Rating Summary
This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a puppet-like humanoid on a quest to free the world from an evil force. From a third-person perspective, players explore seaside towns and landscapes while battling roaming enemies (e.g., giant crabs, knights, villagers). Players use swords, maces, and axes to kill enemies in melee-style combat. Battles are fast-paced and are accompanied by sword slashes, impact sounds, and cries of pain. Enemies emit large splatters of black blood when hit; blood sometimes stains the ground. Some sequences depict additional acts of violence: a character stabbing herself; a giant creature ripping an organ out of a creature's chest. A handful of environments depict piles of bodies and/or limbs; one background scene depicts puppet-like humanoids impaled on pikes. Players' character can obtain wine items and throw them at enemies; some moves and items contain references to alcohol (e.g., Drunken Stupor, Hungover Strike, Drunken Sword); a fantastical liquid (Vis) causes players' character to have a dizzy effect. The word “a*se” appears in the game.
