Cuisineer

This is a role-playing/simulation game in which players control a cat-like humanoid that manages a family restaurant to pay off debts. From a top-down perspective, players explore a town, serve restaurant customers, and explore dungeon-like areas. While battling monsters and collecting ingredients, players use spatulas, kitchen knives, and thrown plates to defeat whimsical enemies (e.g., chickens, sheep, fantastical creatures) in melee combat. Fighting is highlighted by impact sounds and screen-shaking effects. The dialogue occasionally references wine, usually within lists of cooking ingredients..
