Sniper Elite: Resistance

This is a third-person shooter in which players assume the role of an elite lead operative helping the French resistance battle Nazi forces during WWII. Players complete objectives and eliminate enemy targets by using pistols, machine guns, and sniper rifles to kill Nazi soldiers. Combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and large splashes of blood. Players can eliminate enemies discreetly by sneaking up and performing stealth attacks to incapacitate or kill targets (e.g., knife stab into neck). Performing accurate sniper shots triggers short cutscenes that follow the bullet's trajectory in slow motion; bullets and shrapnel are sometimes shown shattering/bursting enemies' skulls/bones and internal organs in a detailed x-ray view. The word “sh*t” is heard in the game.
