Rating Summary
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of a samurai seeking vengeance against a demon king. From a third-person perspective, players explore environments, interact with characters, and battle human and demon enemies (e.g., samurai, alligator men). Players use swords, daggers, spears, bows, and guns to kill mostly human enemies. Combat is highlighted by wet slashing sounds, cries of pain, and large blood-splatter effects. Some environments depict human corpses amid blood pools. Cutscenes also depict further instances of violence and/or blood: a villager stabbed and dragged on the ground; a character repeatedly shot by flaming arrows; several civilian characters stabbed.
