Battlefield Waltz

This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of a woman owning a cursed sword who attends a military academy. As players progress through the story, they interact with characters and make dialogue/action choices that influence the narrative. Some sequences depict still-images of violence and/or blood: a character's throat cut; characters slashed by swords; characters with blood on their clothing/weapons. The text also describes further instances of violence (e.g., “[He] was killed due to a single slash to his carotid artery with a sharp blade”; “What do you think about double suicides?…A painless way to go would be poison."). Some female characters are designed with revealing outfits (e.g., deep cleavage); the dialogue also references suggestive material (e.g., “[I] can't wait to see you in a bridal gown. And to remove it from you”; “Oh, you want to strip me, too? Sure, go ahead. Any time”; “...I'll strip you by force”; “You perv! Molester!”). Some sequences reference alcohol use (e.g., “[He] downed a half-full cup of alcohol”; “[He] poured another glass of the amber colored liquor and drank it down. He didn't appear drunk at all”; “drank a ridiculous amount of tequila by accident”; "80 percent alcohol and you got drunk from that”). The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in the game.
