Despera Drops

This is a visual novel in which players follow the story of a student studying abroad and trying to clear her name of murder. As players progress through the story, they can make dialogue/action choices that influence the outcome of the narrative. Some choices can lead to sequences of violence and blood, mostly depicted via still-images: a man pointing a gun at a character's face; characters attacking each other off-screen, with accompanying slashing/punching sound effects; characters with small bloodstains on their mouths and hands; a man shot multiple times offscreen. The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in the game.
