WARRIORS: Abyss

This is a “rogue-lite” action game in which players assume the role of an ancient Chinese hero attempting to defeat a demon from the Underworld. From a ¾-overhead perspective, players use swords, spears, blades, and elemental attacks to kill waves of monsters and human-like souls. Special moves sometimes depict dramatic light effects and/or explosions, with enemies thrown in all directions. Combat is often fast-paced, with players slashing dozens of enemies at once, resulting in frequent cries of pain and splashes of brownish blood. Some levels also depict red bloodstains on the ground. A handful of female characters are designed in revealing outfits (e.g., lingerie-like outfits, deep cleavage). The game contains some alcohol content: still image of characters toasting/celebrating with rice wine; still image of characters at an outdoor party (text reads "Get drunk"); references to alcohol in the dialogue (e.g., "His love for wine led to more than a few drunken failures"; "Now for some wine to wash it down...!").
